Garden of Eden (4 Rags)

A suite of four rags composed in 1984 and published in 1995: Through Eden's Gates, The Eternal Feminine, Old Adam, and Seabiscuit's Rag. The set forms Bolcom's most sustained single statement in the rag form, tracing an arc from innocence to expulsion through four contrasting characters.
