Suite in C major
Suite of pieces in C major from the Bauyn Manuscript: unmeasured prelude, allemande, three courantes, two sarabandes, and the celebrated Passacaille — one of Louis Couperin's most extended and admired keyboard pieces. The Passacaille is a monumental set of variations on a repeating bass and the centrepiece of the C major group.
