A short solo piano piece composed 1950. Disowned by the composer but published and recorded; it was later scored by Kenneth Hesketh for incorporation in Les Citations (2014). A bird-inspired miniature characteristic of Dutilleux's French Impressionist roots. Duration approximately 3 minutes.
