Four Eclogues (B. 103)
Four pastoral character pieces composed in 1880 and published posthumously. Éclogues evoke the pastoral poetry tradition — serene, nature-inspired mood pictures that anticipate the lyrical language of the Poetic Tone Pictures. They are among the most intimate of Dvořák's piano miniatures.
