Eight Great Suites, HWV 426–433
Handel's authorised collection of eight keyboard suites, published in London in 1720 to combat pirated editions. The collection ranges from compact four-movement suites to the large-scale Suite No. 7 with its Passacaille. Essential repertoire for harpsichord and equally performed on modern piano.
