Nocturne in F major, Op. 99 (chamber ensemble)
Nocturne for small ensemble — flute, violin, viola, cello, guitar, and piano (or alternative similar groupings) in F major, composed c.1824. A gentle, atmospheric salon piece that anticipated the Romantic nocturne style. The piano serves as harmonic foundation while the melody passes between the other instruments.
