Piano Sonata No. 1 in C major, Op. 2a No. 3
Hummel's first published piano sonata, the third piece in his Op. 2a set, composed c.1792 during his London years as a teenage prodigy. A three-movement work in the classical Viennese tradition, showing the influence of his teacher Mozart. The earliest of the six published numbered sonatas.
