Suite, Op. 29 (for chamber ensemble)

Suite for piano, clarinet in E♭, clarinet in A, bass clarinet, violin, viola, and cello, composed 1924–26. The piano is an equal ensemble member across all six movements (Overture, Tanzschritte, Thema mit Variationen, Gigue, Menuett, Gigue II). A mature twelve-tone work that shows Schoenberg's mastery of ensemble texture. Duration approximately 25 minutes.
