Schoenberg's last completed work, composed 1949. A single-movement fantasy for violin and piano in fully mature twelve-tone style. The work was composed 'backwards' — Schoenberg wrote the violin part first, then added the piano later. Technically demanding for both players. Duration approximately 10 minutes.
