5 Pieces for Piano, Op. 85 ('The Flowers')
Five pieces (The Flowers) composed 1916–17, each named for a flower: Bellis (Daisy), Oeillet (Carnation), Iris, Aquileja (Columbine), and Campanula (Bellflower). The companion set to Op.75 (The Trees); Oeillet in particular is admired as one of Sibelius's most inspired piano miniatures.
