Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 15
Piano trio for violin, cello and piano composed 1855 and revised 1857. Written in mourning for Smetana's daughter Bedřiška, who died at age four. One of the great elegiac works of the Czech repertoire, it draws on Liszt's symphonic poem style while remaining deeply personal. In three movements.
