Symphonie Romane, Op. 73
Widor's tenth and final organ symphony, based on the Easter Gradual 'Haec dies.' Named for the Romanesque basilica of Saint-Sernin in Toulouse, its four movements transform the Gregorian melody through increasingly elaborate settings, culminating in a jubilant Final.
